Mistrust and misconceptions have played a significant role in the resistance and controversy surrounding
adolescent sexual and reproductive health education in Ghanaian communities. As a result, adolescent health
programs have underperformed, leading to issues such as high rates of teenage pregnancy, school dropout,
unsafe
abortions, sexually transmitted infections, and substance abuse. This research aims to explore innovative
ways
of utilizing technology to deliver adolescent health education while addressing and reducing mistrust and
misconceptions in the rural Adaklu district of the Volta Region, Ghana.
